The alliance decided to shift to Volkmar. Hopefully it's a higher density server.

The transfers have started!! I moved this morning..

The server wide meeting on vent last night was awesome. There were people there representing a bunch of the big guilds. People who had the best accents. LOL

Anyway the general feeling was, everyone was moving. And that Volkmar has a good order side. So hopefully way less wait times for the rest of us.

Yay for mythic for letting us move. Too bad it too so long..

Sorry to sound like a total Noob, but how does this work? Do we all have to move our characters individually or can you move the whole guild?

log on to accounts.eamythic.com and click on the transfer characters link. pretty straight forward. you have to transfer each character yourself, and they must be at least rank 5.

as for the guild, the guild leader has to log on to Sylvania and do a /transferguild prior to going to the account center. this will disband the guild and delete the guild vault (including cash and items) and save the guild rank and renown to the guild leader. then, when he/she reforms the guild on Volkmar, you get all of that back. make sure you empty the guild vault prior to doing the transferguild command, though, or you lose everything.

as an aside, you could make it easy on yourselves and merge into Axis.

Thanks Dreslen. I've done transfers before, so that isn't a problem - just looking for an easy way to move 4 characters and then get them back into the guild

One thing that I started to thinka bout last night that Im kinda worried about is this:

If ALL of destruction coordinated to move to one server and all of alliance coordinated as well but moves to another server then we will have imbalance again and that will = no fun

I wonder if anyone talked to alliance guilds about coordinating over to Volkmar as well ?

there was a huge server-wide vent meeting last night. There was close to 150 reps from both alliance and destruction guilds there. Every major, or even somewhat known, guild, from both factions on Sylvania, is going to Volkmar. Revolution, Prophecy, Elite, The Council, our alliance mates, Eternal Nightmare, ID, Soverign, etc.

Holy crap! Why wasnt I told!? haha jk. Anyways, I assume there was some sort of forum communication to coordinate all that ? (Warhammer alliance or akin?)

there was a post on the WHA forums about it. it was a fun meeting.
